View of the Lodge.

In the middle of Utah's wildest, most remote, sandstone canyon country sits Boulder Mountain Lodge, an unexpected oasis of tranquility and comfort. This nationally recognized luxury eco-lodge provides all you're looking for in a getaway: spacious rooms, intimate ambiance, unparalleled views, fine dining, and an impressive array of opportunities, services, and amenities.

Room at the Lodge.

Our beautiful rooms offer television, coffee and tea service, telephones, and an assortment of select Aveda personal products to make you feel truly pampered. Beds are covered with down comforters in custom tapestry duvets, and rooms are elegantly furnished in a Western style with craftsman-quality wooden furniture. You'll find the lodge architecture to be a charming Western eclectic-style: red stucco, rose-colored sandstone blocks, massive timbers, and dramatically pitched
rusted metal roofs.

The lodge itself is an intimate arrangement of buildings set around a 15-acre lake and bird sanctuary. In the main building's large central common room, you can relax, read, plan adventures, or chat before a cozy sandstone fireplace.  An outdoor hot tub and an outdoor stone fire pit are available for guests, as well. And dining at the celebrated Hell's Backbone Grill, the highly Zagat-rated restaurant located on our grounds, is a culinary experience not to be missed. Open for breakfast and dinner March 17th through November 1st, the restaurant serves organic, regional cuisine. Picnic lunches are available as well—order them the night before your excursion and they will be ready to pick up the next morning at breakfast. Dinner reservations are strongly recommended.

For accommodations in Southern Utah, our surroundings and location simply can't be topped. Only a short drive from some of America's most magnificent scenic wonders, we're located near the Grand Staircase Escalante National  Monument, at the junction of the famous Burr Trail and Utah Highway 12,  the Scenic Byway connecting Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef  National Parks. Highway 12 recently became an All-American Highway, as well as being named one of the top ten scenic byways in America by Car  and Driver Magazine. The quiet town of Boulder, Utah is considered one of the most remote in the lower 48 states, and was in fact the last town in America to stop receiving its mail by mule train. To this day, with a population of approximately 200, Boulder feels utterly undiscovered and unspoiled.

There's no better setting for your romantic weekend escape or family getaway than Boulder Mountain Lodge. We're also the ideal spot for weddings, group gatherings, seminars, retreats and reunions.
